The WolfPack Family - Eye Opener

Just watched a story on abc channel about a family, who were secluded by father for 14 years. Wife and seven children were never allowed to step out of the apartment for the whole time. Neighbors never knew they existed for all these years. Children were home schooled and the only means of their connection to the outer world is an open window and movies. When they finally stepped out for the first time after 14 years their joy is limitless and unexplainable. Initially they were awestruck and shy but gradually started communicating and connecting with the people using their only knowledge of movies.

The freedom that we take for granted may not be a privilege for somebody else out there. This story is eye opener and a great example of what we own in our lives. Those who experience this first time treasure it and those who experienced it enough are trying to live seclude life again :).

In memory of Granny - I Miss You!

Few months back on December 31, 2014 my grandmother passed away. I would have spent that day different way but decided to hermit myself thinking about my grand mother and her memories. At times in our life, we feel helpless, fragile and do nothing other than accepting reality and destiny. She passed away after bedridden for few years. She was very special to me and left me plenty of wonderful memories. Her life itself is a very interesting journey with great challenges.

Diagnosed with cancer around her fifties, she proved everyone wrong and blessed with healthy life until few years ago at the age of 85. The elements that driven her life are very simple. I feel her strict diet routine and discipline might have played a big role. I never saw her sitting idle for few moments, whether it is our house or relative's or for that matter friend's place. Nothing would deter her lending a helping hand. She has strong personality but used to talk very less. I think she made sure these things were instilled in my mother as well right from her childhood. Sometimes, I watched my mother disliked her for keeping on the toes even until few years back. She lived all her life in the village until my grand father was passed away, but since then she stayed with our family.

The most admirable quality of her is the knowledge of different kind of leaves and their medicinal properties. She never had a formal education or training of any sort as far as i know. She has home remedies for everything right from simple cold to serious back pain and stomach problems. She used to pick leaves from our back yard and jungle near the village.

During our school days, we always used to spend summer holidays at our grand mother place, which was located in a beautiful village surrounded by two lakes and one canal. She use to maintain garden with various fruit and vegetable plants in her huge house. Her cooking style used to be very simple and yet exemplary, though she used to cook with not more than 2-3 ingredients and spices. The food used be very delicious and was incomparable to anyone i know in our family. She always used freshly pressed cooking oil from the village mill, whole grains and pulses from our agriculture fields for cooking, there was no compromise at all. Whether it is swimming in lakes and catching fish with grand father or eating home grown fruits and fresh organic food by provided by grand mother were my favourite things until now. I will always cherish your memories, care and love in all my life. Love you.

May your soul rest in peace in heaven, God bless!

Faster than Fast

Well it's been longtime and i almost forgot that i ever had a blog of my own :).
Professional life has become more busier than before and was not really liking this change in life.
I always hated mechanical life and it seems that now i am almost living mechanical life only having limited quality life with family or friends or books. Rarely get a glance of person who is fully happy from inside. Every one seems to be acting happy or portraying happiness to envy others.  I don't know when it is going to end Or when i can sit an hour without any thought. Is it possible to keep my brain blank ? It is weird but you never know. May be i am thinking in ascetic way.  I don't see anything different for my friends and colleagues. May be i should go to serene place for few months and spend quality life or may be should stroke life machine with strokes of happy colors..keep trying .. :)

Japan! Pls teach me a lesson.

Japan’s recent nature's outburst is a perfect example to know our limitations and where we need to put an end to sensitive technologies such as nuclear technologies. I don’t deny nuclear energy is the most economical way to produce electricity or fulfilling energy needs of ever growing economies. But how can we rule out the dangers that are impossible to handle. Well, who would not appreciate the good things but where our conscious taking us? we are working on very alarming technologies without any concern about their longterm implications. Some countries already started reviewing these technologies but i think they were confined to only safety issues.

If we can not save our people there is no point in having greatest technologies and missions. Stopping nature is not in our hands but we can control what we are doing. We have a strong responsibility to save earth and handover it to a future generations.

Believe It or Not: Sealed Brain

Yesterday i received a DVD through courier. This DVD contains very important information about my last life and there after. In last life when i finished my life on earth i was sent to another wonder world. To my surprise there i found a big line of people (probably from earth) who were under going some kind of examination. I also observed one celestial being (evaluator) was preparing a report of those people. Finally it was my turn. After analyzing my body, evaluator confused for a while and took me to the chamber of God and showed my report. God looking at my report smiled and said " Well my son! Your report shows that you haven't used a small fraction of your brain in your life time. Your brain is still fresh and sealed. I think you never took a chance to open it up or tried to use it. That's why i wanted to send you again to earth so that you make use of it this time". I think this is the story behind my rebirth in 21st century. But i really don't know what will happen this time, because my brain is still sealed :).

On a Lighter Note: Doomsday

I read and hear many speculations in print media and other kinds of media about doomsday 2012. I have no say in those kind of prophecies and speculations but I want them to be a surprise. Media exploitations in those kind of issues are completely waste of time. Just imagine if that day comes on April, 1. I guess most people think that mother nature is kidding !!!

McDonald's Man-go

What will you do when a messenger of GOD meets you early morning at McDonald?....I calmly listened to him.

I went to McDonald restaurant yesterday to take my early breakfast. I chose a corner place so that i can finish my class assignment without any disturbances. Then an old man on next table, who was engaged in writing holy notes until then, came to me and started telling something which i never knew before. I listened to him for more than an hour because of his enchanting way of telling things. Later his wife joined and added her voice as well. As a matter fact the holy man did accumulated huge knowledge and truly understood essence of all religions in the world. I learnt that he gave away all his rich real estate business earnings way back in 1970's. Now according to me he truly lives a king size life, i mean much much happier and elegant than any body i am seeing around.

First Crush

Yesterday somebody asked about my first crush. Until now i never gave a serious thought to skim through my memories back to schooldays and this time i did. Told to myself 'give it a try'. To my little surprise i did get the picture but it was little bit amorphous. Anyways i would like to shower some vague memories here. In our life time, our mind scans through millions of faces and of them few faces do save as a portraits, i think there is a reason to remember those ones. I believe first crush is one of those unforgettable experiences for each of us. When it happened to me, I was probably in sixth standard. I am not sure if that was crush. But something really used to happen to me when i get to see this girl who was newly moved from North India to our street. Her name was Barkha. Unfortunately now I didn't remember her last name. I always used to have lot of faith in my childhood friend who says that you will always forget your first crush's last name. May be that's true. This newly arrived neighbor girl was something special for me and most of the other boys in our neighborhood because of her unconventional attitude and style. She was thin, very calm going and had a beautiful genuine smile. I think what attracts us at that younger age was mostly confines to physical beauty,i mean infatuation. Their family owned a pharmacy and if I wanted a glance of her, the good times were usually evenings and Sunday's coz she used to help her dad along with her brother in those times. And whenever our family was in need of any medical supply i simply used to run into Barkha's store to get her cute glimpse. I didn't even remember whether she used to blush or not, but my blood used to flush like fountain. That's the reason i guess she did stick to my long memory capsule. By now if not unmarried must have added junior Barkha to the wonder world.

Guess What???

We always avoid speaking the truth. Even though most of the western world believes in speaking one's mind, it seems that we are drawing a line somewhere and we don't say what we really mean. Here i sum up what our surrounding world saying and what they really mean. It is just my personal opinion, I guess no offense.

1)If a shop keeper complements that your ring is very beautiful, probably he wants to sell something to you which may not be on your agenda at all.

2)If somebody is telling you about their month expenditures, probably he wants to avoid some extravaganza plan with you.

3)If some unknown person is complementing your cute baby, he indirectly wanted to indicate that you are gorgeous as well.

4)If somebody is not eating anything on first date, probably he or she wants to keep the meeting short or may be scared about their eating etiquittes.

Eighteen months back !!!

When i saw this girl wiping the car windshield,
My heart did take a momentary yield.
It happens I said to myself,
Though thoughts never seem to stop.
It moved little further I guess,
The very next day when I saw the wonder miss.
But this time the unconscious mind did twinkle,
Messing up with my creative jungle.
Who dares to convince my heart,
It is as stupid as this sour tart.

Vow What a Violinist !!!

Armenian friend told this joke to me recently.

At a musical competition a teenage guy played violin. Judge was surprised at his unique style and asked him after audition, "I see you moving bow in only one direction. Moreover you are not using your fingers on strings". For that, confidant violinist replied " Most of the violinists are still in search of right note but i already found the right one"

Happiness

Is just happiness is the most important thing in your life or all the things and achievements in the world which in turn gives us happiness is the most essential or i am talking about the same things here. All these years of exciting journey suggest me that how we are going to end each day is the most important and often difficult to achieve. Starting the day with fresh positive energy is something easily amalgamated and cultivated but ending the day with same spirit and energy takes million dollar worth of serotonin.

Mr. Out Of The Blue: Jet

Here I am writing about our neighbor kid. Out of the blue he shows up while i am outside in the evenings or weekends and yells something to me and disappears.I have also given a name to him because of this. I call him 'Jet'. Once Jet told me that he has a girl friend.I don't know what it means to him at that age but i am sure Jet knows something vaguely. Last evening Jet appeared with new funky hair style. Says this is for his girlfriend and shouts "Hurrah, this hair for Laura". By the way Laura is his so called girl friend's name. Who can possibly match the energy levels of kids. But one thing is sure good or bad i don't know but media has huge impact on growing kids. But for me whenever i see this kid, i definitely get a smile on my face along with glimpses of my childhood memories.

I was born and I will be gone

I was born and I will be gone

Had to walk, run and jump alone
Simple or mysterious all possibles done
May be because of something I know,
I was born and I will be gone.

I ate rice, fries, corn,
And everything that was grown
Nothing but all in vain coz
I was born and I will be gone

I went to Italy, Europe and Japan
Nothing wonders me now like before
May be the reason is as simple as this one
I was born and I will be gone.

I browsed, I learned and I scribbled
And done everything that I believed
May be for only clue I had
I was born and I will be gone

Told everything that's in my heart
Touched everything that I loved
'Right or wrong' no offence b'coz
I was born and I will be gone
